Governor's Corner:

First Off I would like to wish everyone a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving. Hopefully many of you will make the trip to the Lodge to have A wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner with your Lodge family. Last weekend was a quiet weekend at the Moose that saw a lot of members just sitting back enjoying their friends as well as some sports on TV. There have also been many new member sightings around the Lodge- so if you see someone at the bar you don’t recognize go over and give them a big Arlington Welcome. We are only 14 members away from throwing a Membership Appreciation Day for hitting 400 total members so so make sure you shake their one hand and give them an application with the other (just kidding – well not really). Please read the December newsletter below for details on all of our upcoming activities. One particular item of note is that we will be having a General Lodge Meeting on Tuesday December 3rd to go over some important topics including discussion on use of the Lodge property. – PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THE CHRISTMAS PARTY

Christmas Party December 14th (12-2): ho ho ho calling all children. Santa will be coming to Arlington Moose Lodge on Sat Dec. 14. The WOTM and LOOM will be hosting a children’s christmas party from noon to 2pm. Lunch will be supplied for the children, we also will have story time, craft tables and a visit from Santa. Please sign up by Dec 5.. sorry we can't take walk ins you must signed your children up by calling the lodge or coming in.The Board was so excited by the success of the Halloween party that we are already discussing how we can top it with an incredible Christmas party. If anyone has any unopened gifts that they would like donate feel free to drop them off at the Lodge. Also we are trying to figure out if we have any piano players at the lodge who might be willing to play at the Christmas party.

Lodge Membershipathon - The Lodge would love to throw a member appreciation day and why not tie it to surpassing the 400 total LOOM and WOTM membership!! We are currently within shouting distance of breaking the 400 total membership. So make sure you invite your friends and give them an Application to help us achieve our goal so we can throw you a party. Our Starting Totals from the official Moose Membership page as of 11/21 are 244 LOOM (+13 in the past 12 months) and 142 WOTM (+24 in the past 12 months) Members. That gives us a starting point of 386 members.

Bar Build: The bar build continues to chug along. The Barstools have been ordered and are set to be delivered on November 27th. If you are interested in donating a barstool please make a check for $145 out to the Lodge and make sure to put what you want engraved on the back of the chair in the memo field of the check.
